Machinery & Technology

We use SOVEMA (CW320/14) , Sovema’s breakthrough solution combines lead strip production and punching into a single line. Its “Cast & Punch” line produces punched grids with continuous flow form lead ingots to finished products.

Manufacturing Process

Our Plant manufacturing process includes the followings
Pasting line The drum paster from Italy is designed especially for pasting grids produced in a continuous process by punching technology, with a special adjustment to allow the proper centering of the grid, resulting in a homogeneous over-pasting on both sides and uniform thickness of the grid.
Wide strip casting The WSC machine from Italy utilizes a laser system for continuous strip thickness control with a precision of 1.5µm to guarantee consistent thickness. This machine produces a high-quality lead strip with high corrosion resistance, paste adhesion and material strength.
Punching The punch plus machine from Italy provides high-speed production of punched grids through a continuous, lubricant-free strip flowing process. The machine ensures a clean grid with zero contamination downstream.
Curing chamber Our high-temperature curing chamber ensures higher cohesion strength of the paste and adhesion strength between the paste and grid, resulting in better cranking performance and a higher cycle life of the battery.
Assembly The assembly line from Italy with robotic plate handling, cos mold with multi-zone temperature control, high-precision combi machine and heat sealer are designed to deliver a high-quality battery.
Injection molding Our in-house injection molding facility from Korea produces all the plastic parts required for the battery, where premium grade pp granules are used to produce a long-lasting battery casing in extreme climate conditions under the car bonnet.
Charging and formation The automatic formation system from Italy is equipped with smart charging and temperature control by microprocessor to ensure efficient charging for better performance. On the high-precision finishing line, each battery is electronically tested before packaging.
